Just to the point where Bermuda triangle was to vanish from the thoughts of the generations, another similar phenomenon was found in the pacific ocean near Japan, with similar happenings and incidents, like lost of connection from outer world, missing ships and a lot.

Unlike The Bermuda Triangle which is between Bermuda, Florida and Puerto Rico, Dragon’s Triangle isn’t actually between some big landmasses, but actually between some small islands named Miyaki Island, Guam and the third one isn’t named since it’s just a little piece of landmass.

Right one: Dragon’s Triangle and Left one: Bermuda Triangle

Just as the point where researchers had a thought that we might have discovered the secret and the myths behind Bermuda, another Question was already standing there to knock at the door. Some Explanations that stood for Bermuda’s Triangle or Devil’s Triangle was that it was due to the explosions of the underwater volcanoes while some said it was done by some paranormal entity… No answer to be found, just some explanations.

~DRAGON’S TRIANGLE.

The story begin in 1952 when Japanese military sent their Military vessel to that region but it got lost, no connection… no reports… no sign of their existence in that region. These incidents continued from 1952 to 1954. Till that period of time, Japan had lost 5 Military vessels and over 700+ members. Japan decided to send a research team of 100 researchers-scientist, and a medical crew, just if they could find any survivor.

But at the end, who were sent to research where also gone. But, by these incidents, one thing was found that unlike Bermuda, which swallows the ships and aircrafts from inside, Dragon’s Triangle, had a broader range, means it can vanish a ship from a few Kilometer range. There’s an island in Japan named Iwo Jime, which was a war area, but now it’s just a small island of fishermen’s. They had reported that for many years, lots and lots of small boats, fisherman who ever went to that area had vanished without any trace, and one point that was highlighted was that, “THOSE FISHERMEN’S VANISHED EVEN WHEN THEY WERE A THOUSAND KM AWAY FROM DRAGON’S TRIANGLE”

~On Sep.24, 1952

Just if we go at the flashback of how it was actually discovered, let’s hear about the story of the first Japanese Military Incident of Dragon’s Triangle. On Sep.24, 1952, Japanese Researcher, Kaiyo Maru head for a research of an underwater volcano along with 31 Abroad crew mates. The volcano that was to be studied was at a distance of 300km from Dragon’s Triangle. At the start there were 8 Ships that headed for the research, but only 1 ship was able to send an SOS message while the other 7 were lost in the myths of Dragon’s Triangle. But even before the Rescue team could find them, they were also gone.

But it’s not like that this was the very first incident, it all started from April 1949, but there’s no given data of the very first cases. Till now many books were written about Dragon’s Triangle and Bermuda Triangle, one of the most popular one was “Curses, Hexes and Spells” by Danial Cohen’s

“Curses, Hexes and Spells”

many plays and street performance were presented during it’s starting and it was also a popular headline of the newspapers.

~Claims and Rules

After these incidents, government cleared all the islands near the triangle for more than 20 years. Scientist claimed some points and the most acceptable point was that the landmass under the triangle had high amount of Methane Chlorates which breakdown into Methane Hydrates. And as far as chemistry goes, Methane Hydrated can catch fire or even blast at just 18° C. So there’s a possibility that those ships got blasted by their own heat emission but that’s still a myth and no-one has the correct information regarding that.

~CONCLUSION

At the end it’s still a mystery just like the Bermuda Triangle, and it might be possible to find the actual reason in future but till that we can say that it can be a Chemical reason, Geographical Reason or maybe a Paranormal reason, no one can say for sure.

That’s all I can say regarding this Dragon’s Triangle, maybe in future I will visit there too…

Peace Out…
